MIKE DONNER and STEVE JEROME formed All American Men in May, 2004.

MIKE DONNER has been working in the gay adult industry for 16 years. Starting with Bijou Video in Chicago, Mike was hired as Assistant Promotional Director and then moved to Head Promotional Director after one year. He then met mentor, TOBY ROSS who moved to Chicago from San Francisco to start Bijou's production company. There he made his first title, FULTON STREET in which he received nominations for best screenplay, and the lead actor, GRANT LARSON, won Best Actor of 1993.

In 1996 Mike was hired as Promotional Director for ALL WORLDS VIDEO in San Diego and was contracted to write and direct videos as well. His first video for AWV was OUR TRESSPASSES, which garnered many awards from AVN and the GAYVN awards. Since his start at AWV, Mike has gotten a reputation as being cutting edge with his controversial scripts dealing with topics of the gay lifestyle.

STEVE JEROME left the corporate world in 1997 and ventured out to become a photographer, focusing on male art nudes. In a semi-autobiographical video entitled “The Blue Velvet Video,” he tells the story of a young man who leaves the cube farms of corporate America for the creative world. He finds stunningly beautiful men from the Midwest and photographs them. This, his first ever video, was nominated for best alternative video by GayVN. “Blue Velvet 2: Natural Men” was nominated again the following year. Having produced and directed softcore titles, Steve ventured into the hardcore arena with “User Friendly,” which was likely the first adult video to deal with hooking up online.

Since then Steve has developed a reputation in the industry for discovering and developing new talent. One of the models in Blue Velvet is Frank Prantalos (aka Vincent Greco), who became the Advocate MEN Man of the Year in 2000. Among others, Steve worked with Sean Storm, Sam Tyson and Adam Wolfe prior to their becoming industry names. He has developed a series of Frat Initiations tapes that are very successful in the amateur market under his studio name of CustomBoys.
